Professional Track Record

Md. Asheque Mahmud from Dhaka, Bangladesh, a Civil Engineer, currently working in the water resource sector. He has over 12 years of experience in field of Geographic information system, Surveying, river dredging and hydrodynamic modeling. During his tenure at the Institute for Water Modelling (IWM), he gained substantial expertise in developing hydrodynamic models using Delf 3D and Mike 21 software. Additionally, he successfully completed several dredging projects, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Hypack software. Adept at utilizing remote sensing techniques and hydrodynamic modeling to inform engineering decisions and optimize project outcomes. He has advanced application knowledge on ArcGIS Pro and also proficient in developing data-driven models leveraging machine learning algorithms for enhanced predictive analysis.

• Supervision and Monitoring the Performance Dredging, Morphological and Environmental Impacts, Detailed design and Assessment of Effectiveness of Dredging for Restoration of Dry Season Flow, Improvement of Navigability and Flood Management of Four River Routes including Hydrographic and Bathymetric Survey Services
