Mr. Md. Mahedi Bin Mostafa completed his B. Sc. Engg. (WRE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in July 2014. He is currently pursuing his M.Sc. (WRE) from the same University.
Professional Track Record
Mr. Mostafa has a professional career of more than 4 years in the field of Water and Environmental Engineering. As a water/ environmental sector professional, he has developed his professional career in Institute of Water Modelling (IWM) since October 2015.
He is responsible for hydraulic modelling in relation to analysis and design of water supply, sewerage and urban drainage systems; Application of mathematical models to analyze impact in urban watersheds and evaluation of adaptation options; Primary data collection, processing, quality checking of secondary data and data analysis using GIS & statistical tools; Review of environmental and regulatory frameworks; Preparation of maps and technical drawings; Disseminating project outcomes to various stakeholders via workshops, seminars and meetings; Collaborations among different organizations to achieve project goals; Technical report writing and assisting project team in preparation and submission of reports.
Earlier in his carrier (Sep, 2014 - Sep, 2015) he worked as Junior River Training Engineer in SMEC Bangladesh.
